Maria Kolomiets

Voice, Piano, and Noteplay Lessons

Maria Kolomiets is a New York-based performer and educator with over a decade of experience teaching and performing music. She received her B.M. and M.M from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music and has appeared in leading roles in various productions, such as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Blanche de la Force in the National Opera Association 1st prize winning Dialogues of the Carmelites, and many more. She has had the opportunity to share the stage with renowned artists like Andrea Bocelli and has been honored with awards and grants from the YoungArts Foundation, the International Mozart Competition, and more.

She is fortunate to have a broad experience in musical styles, from classical, to Broadway, to jazz, and more. She believes that every student has a unique voice and that her role is to help them unlock and develop it. She creates a safe and nurturing environment for her students to explore their creativity, while also providing a strong foundation in technique and music theory. She is excited to work with students of all ages and levels and to help them discover the joy of music!
